Nicole MacDonald is a forty-something Kiwi book addict who accidentally became a novelist after reading one too many stories that didn’t quite scratch the itch.
What began as scribbles to capture the kind of tale she wanted to read turned into the BirthRight Trilogy — an epic fantasy romance starring women who don’t wait to be rescued.
For research, Nicole spent six months learning how to actually swing a longsword (and, occasionally, a punch).
Now she’s juggling multiple worlds, characters, and creative side projects — which is probably safer for everyone than letting her near another sword.
